1.  Stimulating Chondrocyte Metabolism:  Results in increased production of proteoglycans and healthy cartilage matrix.  PPS stimulates synovial fibroblasts and produces an increased amount of high molecular weight hyaluronic acid which results in an increased production of normally viscous joint fluid.
